Is it Healthy to Do Multiple Rounds of Skinny Up!®

Is it healthy to do multiple rounds of Skinny Up!®? The short answer: Yes. It is healthy. The longer answer: It’s healthy to be at a healthy weight. We live in a culture that is pretty sensitive to the feelings of everyone (which can be a great thing!) but sometimes forgets some pretty real facts. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, some of the symptoms associated with being overweight are:
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Heart disease and strokes
  • High blood pressure
  • Sleep apnea
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Fatty Liver Disease
  • Kidney Disease
  • Pregnancy problems such as high blood pressure, high blood sugar during pregnancy, and increased risk for cesarean delivery (C-section)
There are some real risks associated with being overweight and therefore, getting the body to a healthy and ideal body weight is extremely important. Why not get there quickly? Think about it: if a person has Type 2 Diabetes and if they were to lose 60 pounds, it’s likely that they’d be able to reverse that diagnosis, would it be better to reach that goal in 3 months or in 1 year? 3 months! Why not get healthy faster? That isn’t to say that losing weight is always going to fix any of these issues listed above, but it’s often going to be pretty helpful. So, are multiple rounds of Skinny Up!® safe? Is that healthy? Yes. Skinny Up!® Reduce has been designed to offer the body great amino acids along with awesome vitamin support that is designed to calm the brain, allowing stress-free weight loss and detoxification. The body does work really hard, utilizing all of the major organs to process everything that has been stored in the visceral fat cells for years before this process. Because it is such a major workload, we always recommend that a person does not go over 40 days of the Reduce Phase before beginning a 3-week Retrain Phase. This 3-week break allows the body to rest and normalize so that it is ready to begin another round of weight loss. It is this pattern that allows a person to continue on with weight loss until they hit their weight loss goal. What about people who gain weight back and need to do another round? Is that still healthy? It’s not ideal to yo-yo in weight loss and weight gain. However, if you do gain the weight back, it is still typically better to get back to a healthy weight for your body. Which is why the Retrain Phase is so important. If you haven’t ever read about the Retrain Phase, click here. Being at a healthy body weight is just that… healthy. So why not get there quickly?
